Welcome to Palma Ceia Little League

Those who are new to baseball/softball might wonder what supplies are needed to start the season.  Below is a simple list, as well as a link to some Little League articles, that may help you feel more comfortable getting started in a new sport. 

- Athletic supporter and cup (required for boys)
- Fielder's Facemask (required for softball at all levels)

- Helmet (Helmet with Faceguard for softball, faceguard not required for baseball)

- Bat (check the link below before buying)

- Glove

- Cleats (not metal, except for Intermediate, Juniors, and Seniors divisions)
- Baseball or softball pants for practices (Any color is fine for practice)
- Water bottle (with player's name written on it)

Those are the starting essentials.  Once you get assigned to a team, your Coach will help you choose the correct baseball/softball pants to buy for games.  The league will also usually provide a hat, jersey, and belt.  The key thing to remember is that your Coach is your best resource.  If your player's Coach can't answer a question, the Coach should check with the Coaches Coordinator for help.
