New Baseball Bats: Where and How Much?

The PCLL Spring 2018 season is right around the corner and the new bat standards (detailed here) may have a lot of parents wondering about where to get them and how much it will cost.

Fortunately, stores like Target and Dick's both have bats available in stock and affordable options for all skill and division levels.

On a recent in-store shopping review, Target had less options but offered the most affordable prices. Dick's had a much larger selection, displays with a lot of information and staff was very willing to help out. If you are unsure which bats are suitable for your players, Dick's is the much better option.

Both Dick's and Target's online options featured the USA Baseball logo to make it clear which bats met the new standard. As a final reminder, the USSSA bats do not meet the same requirements - each bat must show the USA Baseball logo on it.
