Players, coaches, and fans that are quarantined from work or school must also quarantine from all PCLL activities.  Please notify your child's coach of the quarantine and the timeline.

If you or your child is feeling sick, may be sick, or is exhibiting any signs of being sick, please notify your coach and do not attend events at PCLL until the symptoms are no longer present.

We appreciate your help in keeping everyone in the PCLL community safe and healthy.

Updated January 18, 2021:

All quarantines, close contacts, and/or positive Covid-19 tests must be reported to our Safety Officer via email as soon as possible.  [email protected].  If you are in doubt, contact our Safety Officer for guidance.  Any person who has been quarantined from work or school may not attend any PCLL events during the quarantine period.

If you or your child are sick, may be sick, or are exhibiting ANY signs of being sick, please notify your coach and do not attend events at PCLL until the symptoms are no longer present.

Updated 12-21-2020:

The PCLL BOD generally follows the guidance of the Hillsborough County School District as it relates to Covid-19 Policies.  This update was released by Hillsborough County Schools and has been adopted by PCLL.

Based on guidance from the Department of Health-Hillsborough and after consultation with our partners at TGH/USF Health, the district will implement a new 10-day quarantine period upon our return from Winter Break on January 4th.

Beginning on January 4, 2021, students and staff who are directed to quarantine due to exposure, will be permitted back to school on day 11, after completing their 10-day quarantine if they remain symptom-free.

Posted Fall 2020:

In our ongoing effort to ensure the safety of our PCLL families, we are continually evaluating our policies related toCOVID-19. In compliance with state and local guidelines, PCLL will abide by the following policies:

1.If your player or any member of your household tests positive forCOVID-19, your entire household will be required to quarantine from the park for 14 days from the date of the positive test.

2.If your player is under an official quarantine from school, or if a family member is under an official quarantine from any entity, due to close contact with someone who tested positive, only that person (player or family member) is quarantined from the park during the official quarantine period. As an example, if Jack is under official quarantine from school through 10/29, Jack is quarantined from the park for the same period of time. However, his sister who plays softball is not required to quarantine. This scenario would assume the player or family member quarantined did NOT test positive for COVID-19.

If your player or a family member are impacted by the scenarios above, please report this to the PCLLSafety Officer, Michelle Zimmerman, immediately. She can be reached via email at [email protected] or via cell phone at 813-220-0614.

As a reminder related to sanitizing and social distancing:

·First and foremost, if your player or a member of your household is showing any symptoms of illness, or if you are sick, please stay home.
·All players, coaches, and umpires must sanitize before entering the field of play.
·Large containers of alcohol wipes are available in each dugout to wipe down equipment.
·Team coolers will not be used. Each player should bring their own water bottle.
·Players are assigned spots in the dugout or along the outside of the fence along the foul line, so they are least 6 feet apart. Folding chairs are available in each dugout for use along the fence.
·Players hang their bags and keep their equipment at these dedicated stations.
·Players are to stay at their assigned spots when on the bench or waiting their turn to bat.
·Fans and families should maintain a safe distance from other spectators in the stands and throughout the park. This applies to practices and games.
·No player contact is allowed at any time, including high fives, fist bumps, and the player handshake at the end of the game.
·Teams line up down first and third base lines and tip caps.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation with the above policy and for your continued support!
